— The Talk

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy offers a dedicated, confidential space — free from the pressures and judgements of daily life — where you can speak openly about what you are experiencing. It is a collaborative relationship built on trust, curiosity, and compassion.

What to expect

Our work begins with an initial consultation — a chance for us to meet, for you to share what has brought you here, and for us both to explore whether we are a good fit.

Sessions are 50 minutes, typically held weekly. I work both in-person and online, adapting to what suits your life and circumstances.

There is no fixed timeline. Some people find short-term focused work most helpful; others benefit from longer-term exploration. We navigate this together at your pace.

Everything shared in our sessions remains strictly confidential, within the ethical and legal boundaries of professional practice.

— Approaches

An integrative, tailored approach

• Person-Centred Therapy

Rooted in the belief that each person holds the capacity for growth and healing, this approach creates a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings without fear of evaluation. Together we focus on building self-awareness and self-acceptance.

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

A structured, evidence-based approach that explores the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. We identify unhelpful patterns and gently challenge them, developing practical strategies for lasting change.

• Somatic & Body-Based Work

The body holds memory that words sometimes cannot reach. Somatic approaches invite you to reconnect with physical sensations as a gateway to emotional processing, particularly helpful for trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress.

• Psychodynamic Exploration

By exploring early relational experiences and unconscious patterns, we gain insight into how the past shapes the present. This deeper work can be transformative for those seeking to understand recurring themes in their lives and relationships.

Areas I work with

  • Anxiety & panic
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Low self-esteem
  • Chronic illness
  • Depression & low mood
  • Grief & loss
  • Burnout & stress
  • Trauma & PTSD
  • Life transitions
  • Identity & purpose

In that space is our freedom.”
